Senior GL Accountant with GermanMiejsce pracy: Warszawa
Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local regulations and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, HGB).
Ensure compliance with legal and corporate policies in accounting and finance.
Manage the full general ledger cycle, including regular account reconciliations (e.g., bank accounts, receivables, payables, provisions).
Support month-end and year-end closing processes, identifying and correcting any discrepancies in entries.
Prepare management reports and analyses, and support external audits and tax reviews.
Optimize accounting processes and support the implementation of new ERP systems.
Requirements:
Good knowledge of English and German (B2).
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., Certified Accountant) is a plus.
Several years of experience in accounting in senior roles; SSC experience preferred.
Familiarity with international accounting standards (IFRS) and strong knowledge of accounting principles is a plus.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent organizational abilities.
