For our international client in the automotive industry, we are seeking experienced, independent, and development-oriented candidates for the position of Chief Accountant. The selected individual will be responsible for managing comprehensive accounting operations, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and collaborating with the company's management and business partners.

Key Responsibilitie:
- Ensuring accounting is conducted in compliance with applicable standards and regulations;
- Overseeing the accuracy of all accounting operations, including liabilities, receivables, and the general ledger;
- Monitoring compliance with generally accepted accounting policies and internal regulations;
- Ensuring the integration and uniformity of financial information;
- Maintaining the highest level of internal control over accounting operations;
- Coordinating the month-end closing process and ensuring timely execution;
- Preparing financial reports for the Group;
- Managing annual audits and cooperating with both internal and external auditors;
- Organizing and managing the accounting department and its team;
- Collaborating with other financial departments such as controlling and asset management.
Requirements:
- Higher education in economics, finance, or a related field;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position;
- Practical knowledge of capital company operations;
- Strong understanding of corporate finance, tax law, and commercial law;
- Experience in accounting and tax matters, including financial statement preparation;
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage a team;
- Practical knowledge of IFRS reporting;
- Advanced MS Excel skills;
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and people management skills;
- Decision-making ability and a strong sense of responsibility;
- Fluency in English and German;
- Fluency in Polish will be additional advantage;
- Knowledge of Navision financial and accounting software is a plus.
