Developer requirements for the iBMD (International Billing Mediation) project:
- The developer should have good knowledge of billing mediation / billing systems
- The developer must be able to implement new requirements based on current functionality, taking into account the agreed Meta model used in all current requirements specifications, such as: agreed application platform and detailed revenue assurance design, use of code structure according to current specifications as file level controls / record level controls / record classification MT, ST, TC / distribution, etc.).
- The programmer must be able to write requirements and development documentation (manuals, solution design description, operations manual, installation instructions, etc.).
- The programmer must be able to work closely with other SCRUM team members and the client
- The programmer must be able to perform functional manual/automatic tests, prepare scripts for automated tests such as benchmark tests, regression tests, load and performance tests, etc.
- The programmer must be able to prepare test data - select it from existing anonymised production data or create artificial test data covering all possible test scenarios, including negative test cases.
The developer will use internal tools:
- defect tracking (JIRA)
- change management (JIRA)
- activity reporting (JIRA)
- code repository and versioning (GITlab)
- knowledge base maintenance (Confluence)
- software and document delivery (JIRA, GITlab)
- Documentation and modelling (Word, PlantUML, AsciiDoc)
Essential skills:
- Very good knowledge of programming in procedural programming languages
- Knowledge of relational database principles
- Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL programming in Oracle and PostgreSQL databases (stored procedures, triggers, SQL tuning,....
- Very good knowledge of Linux operating system, Shell scripting, other scripting languages such as Awk, Perl, Pytho welcome
- Knowledge of version management principles (differences, branching, merging, reintegration, etc.).
- Ability to communicate in English (face-to-face communication, e-mails, over the phone, etc.), and the ability to communicate in English.
- Ability to independently solve assigned tasks
Specific requirements of Billing Mediation:
- knowledge of Digital Route Mediation Zone product (APL language, MZ Ultra, WF design) - design, programming, operation
- basic knowledge of Java or similar language
- knowledge of SVN version management system
- ability to communicate in Czech/Slovak - nice to have
The programmer will be responsible for providing business analysis of customer requirements, implementation of SW according to defined requirement specifications in appropriate quality, module and system testing and integration testing if required. The programmer must follow existing internal policies as defined by the process.
