Join global company known for innovative products and solutions that addresses global challenges in health and agriculture.As Lead DevOps Engineer, you will become part of a team responsible for creating new, greenfield platform used for data integration from various sources.
Your new role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing infrastructure based on AWS that is scalable, reliable, and secure
- Using tools like Terraform, Kubernetes and Docker to provide infrastructure, containerisation and orchestration
- Using Backbone to implement cross-team cooperation
- Enabling deployment of applications and services by guiding development of CI/CD pipelines
- Ensuring code quality and reliability by guiding implementation of automated testing
- Monitoring health and performance of applications and infrastructure by designing logging and alerting systems
- Collaboration with other teams to understand the needs of DevOps support
- Being an advocate for DevOps best practices and compliance standards within the company to ensure infrastructure and application security
What you39ll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/Software Engineering/Information Technology or equivalent practical work experience
- 5+ years’ experience as a DevOps engineer.
- Excellent experience with Composable Architecture principles, especially on an API first strategy.
- Excellent proficiency with the AWS cloud platform with focus on infrastructure as code using Hashicorp Terraform.
- Basic knowledge in Backstage Configurations & Operations.
- Excellent knowledge in automation with CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions.
- Good knowledge in Kubernetes development and operations with focus on AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service.
- Good knowledge in security concepts with focus on operations of Hashicorp Vault and using OpenID Connect using Microsoft Entra ID for authentication and authorisation.
- Good knowledge in designing and operating streaming data integration using technologies like Kafka and AWS Kinesis
- Good knowledge in orchestrating AWS cloud services using AWS Step Functions, AWS Simple Queue Service and Apache Airflow
- Basic experience cloud monitoring solutions like AWS CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus or OpenTelemetry
