Market Access Manager/Head

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales, medical, and marketing teams to enhance their effectiveness and help solidify the company’s standing as a trusted healthcare provider.
- Foster and maintain strategic relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external, such as:
- Country-based cross-functional teams (sales, medical, and marketing)
- Global pricing, market access, and government affairs teams
- Global HEOR (Health Economics and Outcomes Research) teams
- Payers, decision-makers, KOLs, health economists, and HTA (Health Technology Assessment) experts
- Patients and advocacy organisations
- Develop and implement comprehensive market access strategies for the company’s products, ensuring alignment with global access and government affairs objectives.
- Lead local value data generation and HEOR initiatives, ensuring consistency with global plans and strategies.
- Guarantee the effective design and execution of market access and reimbursement strategies at both national and regional levels.
- Identify and maximise opportunities to secure market access for product launches before they occur.
- Organise and conduct formal and informal consultations with key payers.
- Create and manage the submission of essential documents, such as HTA dossiers, to secure favorable outcomes from review committees, public and private formularies, and purchasing groups.
- Develop and present compelling value propositions backed by Health Economic and Budget Impact Analysis (BIA) models.
- Stay informed about market access trends and evolving external factors that could impact the healthcare environment.
- Lead innovative communication initiatives, including digital strategies and forums, to convey the value of the company’s offerings.
- Understand and address the specific needs of critical stakeholders, including payers, patients, and healthcare professionals.
- Support the development and execution of public relations and government affairs strategies related to market access challenges and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in market access, pricing, health economics, or related fields in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong knowledge of the healthcare system, market access frameworks, and reimbursement processes.
- Experience of working with key stakeholders, including payers, government agencies, and healthcare professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers.
- Ability to develop and present strategic plans that align with both local and global objectives.
