For our client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of:Project Manager, Data & AI Center of Excellence (Szczecin, Poland)

We’re looking specialist to:

• New project involving the definition, modeling and integration of data to the business needs of the company. Process data is based on statistical data from interests (department, research, production, PLC System, IT) and prepared for display in PowerBI and ERP.
• Project taking place in Azure cloud environment.
• Our client, operating in an international environment with Nordic capital, is creating a Center of Excellence in Data and AI in Szczecin and is looking for a dynamic Manager to lead this initiative.
• This role plays a key role in driving our data strategy, data projects and a range of innovations, directly contributing to the improvement of our medical devices and production efficiency.
• The client offers an exciting and challenging position in an organization characterized by a high degree of inter-organizational cooperation and focused on joint effort and commitment. You are expected to set a clear direction and provide situational leadership in the "Data & AI" team. Therefore, this role requires strong leadership skills in building and training a team of highly qualified professionals to effectively achieve our goals.
• The ideal candidate must have a strategic mindset and be a true team player, focused on creating an open, inclusive and collaborative work environment and ensuring transparency within the team, have a solution-oriented mindset and facilitate cross-functional collaboration and interactions between Group IT and other departments within the company. You probably know what it takes to lead across borders and cultures and are curious about differences in working style and know how to adapt your style depending on the situation, person and task.

Key Responsibilities:

• Together with Group IT management team, Lead the development and execution of the Data & AI strategy, aligning with client’s broader business goals.
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of Data driven projects, from ideation through deployment, ensuring high-quality delivery and alignment with requirements
• Build and manage a high-performing team of data scientists/ analysts, AI & data engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality and Production units to integrate Data solutions into our daily operations.
• Stay on top of industry trends in AI and data science, incorporating cutting-edge methodologies and technologies into our projects.

What we expect from you:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in leading data engineers and science teams, ideally within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical devices sector.
• Preferably experience with AI/ML, data analytics, and project management.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into actionable Data & AI solutions with measurable outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Master’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant background
• Previous experience of leading people across cultures and borders.
