For our Client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of:
Senior Data Engineer
Job type: B2B (with Hays Poland)Type of work: 100% remote Length: first contract for 12 months with possible to extendRate: 160 - 185 PLN/h net on B2B (depends on seniority)Start date: ASAP
Who we are looking for:The customer is looking for a Senior Data engineer with experiences from complex finance projects. They expect a person who take ownership of the problem and make it happen.The primary goal for the Data Engineer is to oversee and drive the backend development, the proprietary Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics tool in the Finance stream.
About the Project:The primary goal for the Data Engineer is to oversee and drive the backend development, the proprietary Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics tool in the Finance stream.Requirements:
Requirements:

• Snowflake, DBT and experience of financial data is mandatory
• Minimum 10 years experiences of business intelligence development
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Snowflake and DBT is essential. A strong background in data engineering, data modelling and database management is required
• Analytical Thinking: Enjoy complex problem-solving and have a keen interest in developing innovative, well-designed solutions to enhance data analysis and reporting capabilities
• Experience in setting CI/CD pipelines for seamless code integration
• Have worked with complex projects with Finance reports
• Leadership and teamwork: Experience in leading and working in large, diverse development teams and projects
• Communication: Proactive communication skills and ability to communicate with different stakeholders
• Experience Migrating from On-prem to Cloud
• (Advantage: Experience from ODI, MS Dynamics 365, GitLab, Snowflake runs in Azure, good to know Power BI)
