Your new role 

You will act as a senior data scientist in an international research team, focused on exploration of a vast amount of online advertising data, development of predictive and segmentation models to optimise campaign strategy.
Technologies used: Python, Docker, SQL, Hadoop, Kubernetes, C#/Java/C/C++/Scala
What will you do:
  • Apply advanced machine learning/statistical algorithms scalable to huge data sets to:
    • Determine the most meaningful ad, served to the right user at the optimal time, and the best price
    • Identify behaviours, interests and segments of web users across billions of transactions to find the most optimal audience for a given advertising activity
    • Eliminate suspicious / non-human traffic

  • Work closely with other Data Scientists, development, and product teams to implement these algorithms into production-level software
  • Contribute to identifying opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions
  • Maintaining our products, supporting customers in analysing the reasons behind the decisions made by our algorithms and looking for new improvements in the process of striving for their excellence.

What you39ll need to succeed 

  • Working experience in a similar senior position 
  • Very good knowledge of Python, SQL, Git and Docker
  • Degree in a quantitative field such as Machine Learning, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or related
  • Excellent mathematical and statistical skills (statistical inference), willingness to work with large datasets
  • Very good knowledge of multiple supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques with maths background and hands-on experience
  • Great problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to structure a large business problem into tractable and reasonable components
  • Very good knowledge of Python, SQL, git and docker

Extra points for:
  • Hands-on experience with Hadoop
  • Knowledge of web technologies
  • Knowledge of Ad Tech industry solutions
  • At least basic coding skills in one of the following languages: C#/Java/C/C++/Scala
