For one of our clients- an international transportation company, we are looking for a Marketing Analyst who will join the Pricing Program team leading commercial initiatives and annual rate increase process for the European region and developing price strategies to improve surcharge yield and is leading the annual rate increase process for the European region. 


As a Marketing Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing insights through analysis to inform key business decisions and address specific business queries
  • Utilizing analytical skills to thoroughly assess quantitative data, aiding commercial initiatives and decision-making processes
  • Leading or supporting EU-wide revenue management projects, such as implementing global pricing changes and updating the annual Remote Area list, leveraging your expertise
  • Collaborating closely with central Pricing and Marketing teams on various pricing projects or yield improvement initiatives across European markets, ensuring a balance between customer needs and the company’s internal yield goals
  • Identifying and driving improvements and further automation opportunities
  • Overseeing a workstream related to the annual rate increase process within the company, such as the implementation of exceptional rate increase

What you39ll bring to the role:

  • Fluent English-must have
  • SQL-proficient
  • Experience with data analysis tools and platforms such as SAS, Databricks, Excel (VBA), Alteryx and data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to interpret complex data sets, identify patterns, and provide actionable insights that drive commercial strategy
  • Proficient in preparing clear and succinct reports and presentations to effectively convey findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interaction across different departments and levels of the organization
  • Very good planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast pace and constantly changing environment
  • Experience in pricing – nice to have
  • Flexibility, eagerness to learn and high energy as a must
